Double the Excitement: ComputerWorld Nominated for Two Prestigious Awards!

Time to get the bubbly out! ComputerWorld has been shortlisted for not one, but TWO, awards! The first is for the ‘IT/Telecoms Support Award’ at the Go:Tech IT Telecoms. And the second is for the CRN Sales and Marketing Awards under the ‘Best Customer Event’ category. We were amongst hundreds of applicants across both awards, so we’re thrilled to be recognised for what we do best.

But before we pop the cork, tie our ties and find that pair of lucky socks… let’s unwrap what these awards are and why we’re so happy about being shortlisted.

The Go:Tech IT/Telecoms Support Award

The Go:Tech ‘IT Telecoms Support Award’ is for businesses that not only provide telecoms or IT for other companies, but also go the extra mile. As a Managed Service Provider (MSP), ComputerWorld doesn’t just provide solutions for our clients – we take pride in supporting and enhancing their business in many different areas. That way, they can crack on with what they need to do without any worries about tech. The bottom line? We want our support contract clients to feel like ComputerWorld is an extension of their team.

Our approach, commitment to customer satisfaction (95.3% satisfaction rate in 2022) and innovative tech solutions like CWcare Complete and Adopt 365 have elevated ComputerWorld to be a standout MSP. CWcare, specifically, has taken us to the award finals this year! Being recognised for such a competitive award is humbling. And our work has clearly impressed the panel at Go:Tech.

The CRN Sales and Marketing Award

Our shortlisting for The CRN Sales and Marketing Award under the ‘Best Customer Event’ category is thanks to our event in November 2022, Define Tomorrow (we told you it wasn’t one to miss!).

Define Tomorrow 2022 was different from our previous events. Before, it was purely a tech event aiming to share expert knowledge and solutions with the tech community and businesses. But the world has moved on from IT being just in the IT department, so we wanted the first in-person Define Tomorrow since 2020 to reflect that.

Our 2022 event welcomed self-proclaimed techies and those who put the NO in technophobe. We wanted to share our knowledge and resources with everyone needing tech in a modern business, so introduced two different tracks. One brought the techies up to date on all things cloud and hybrid working. Then the other attracted a new set of attendees – the non-techies – to show them how they can empower their people and business through hybrid working. Through this one-of-a-kind event, we wanted everyone to feel more confident in Defining their business’ Tomorrow (yes, we had to say it!).

With a world-class line-up of industry professionals, the two-track content that Define Tomorrow 2022 delivered made the event stand out. Plus, our exhibition hall was filled to the brim with visual solutions and social games. With 15 stalls from industry-leading companies and interactive games – think the Batak Machine, F1 simulator and a pinball machine – we not only hosted an informative event, but a place where people got to reconnect and network in person after a long two years of being remote. Much fun was had by all!

We are truly ecstatic about being recognised for our commitment to businesses and their IT from these two very different awards. They show that our approach stands out and gives our customers the best insights and support – be it through knowledge- and information-sharing events or with managed services.

So, until both ceremonies in June, we want to thank everyone involved with our IT support offerings and all those who came to Define Tomorrow! We literally couldn’t have done it without you. Till then, let’s cross our fingers and also wish our competitors the best of luck. Now, shall we go bow tie or tie?
