VMware release two patches for vSphere that need your attention
On Friday VMware released two patches to secure vulnerabilities in vCenter, ESXi and VMware Tools. Unpatched the vulnerabilities could leave your virtual infrastructure vulnerable to attack. The bugs affect vCenter and ESXi version 6.0 but have already been rectified in update 2.

Dell releases results from state of IT Trend Report 2016
The results highlight that business leaders are now increasingly getting involved in IT decision making more and more, increasing the need for IT to provide real business benefits from IT investment. Unsurprisingly the cloud is the main focus when looking at new technology, however the software defined datacenter is leading a hybrid cloud focus on premises. The results make an interesting read and may help guide your focus for your next IT strategy meeting.

Microsoft partners with NVIDIA to deliver GPU enhanced desktops as a service
Microsoft have announced preview availability of its graphically enhanced desktops in the cloud, the N-Series virtual machines will be utilising the virtualisation capabilities of the NVIDIA Tesla M60 and M80 cards. Enabling intensive HPC or visualization applications to be ran from Microsoft’s cloud.

AirWatch has been seen as the market leader in Mobile Device Management for some time, it was acquired by VMware just over two years ago in 2014.
AirWatch Express is designed to be a simple and affordable solution to enable bushiness to get mobile devices configured and secured quickly and easily.

Microsoft starts rolling out Windows 10 Anniversary updates
This week Microsoft has started rolling out its anniversary updates for Windows 10. Included in the updates are a number of improvements to Cortana, Ink and Security. Check out the video and the blog from Microsoft below.
ComputerWeekly report on the growth of ransomware
According to a recent review by security training firm PhishMe 50% of all Malware is now thought to be ransomware. Ransomware is far beyond causing the end user an annoyance like viruses of days gone by, but is now creating a growing income stream for cyber criminals.
